Gorindo turning kiba-dachiKihon - How to Turn

< previous

Turn in Kiba-dachi

1) Begin in kiba-dachi with right foot “forward”.

2) Lead with the eyes and head by looking first over the left shoulder.

3) Shift the weight to the right foot by pushing off gently with the left. Bring the left foot up towards the right foot (no closer than shoulder width apart) and then step it out again to the left, reassuming the correct kiba-dachi position.
